Langton Green Netball Club training sessions take place at Skinners Kent Academy in Tunbridge Wells on either Thursday evenings for our squad players; or on Saturday mornings for those too young to compete in the leagues. LGNC has a membership of approximately 350 girls from Years 3 to 13. LGNC was formed in 1999 and initially had just two teams that trained at Langton Green Primary School. The club now draws on members from Tunbridge Wells and beyond.
LGNC currently enters 11 teams into the Sevenoaks Junior Netball League on Saturday’s, 8 teams into the Tunbridge Wells Adult League on weekday evenings Mon-Thu, and 3 teams into the Kent County Junior Netball League monthly on Sundays from Oct to April. All of our teams are selected on ability, not age, and the girls are asked to trial each season to secure a spot in one of the squads. Over recent years, we have had a good record of players being selected for the U13 and U15 Kent Netball Academies and London Pulse Hubs. The club’s U14 team won the Kent County Junior Netball League 2023-24. County matches for LGNC’s U14 and U16 squads are played at Rainham Girls’ School.
All our members are expected to be fully committed to the club and therefore train and play hard. We play to win and encourage all members to reach their full potential whilst enjoying themselves. To join, please fill in the New Members form.
