KCNC

Kent County Netball Club was established in 1949 making it one of the oldest netball clubs in the country.  Since that time the club has grown from having one adult team to having over 100 members whose ages range from 8 to over 60.

We also have strong links with the County Association and have had numerous players represent Kent at all age groups.  Many of our players have gone on to represent England at Senior, U19 and U17 levels, as well as being selected by Superleague and NPL teams such as Surrey Storm & London Pulse.

Our junior and senior teams all compete at local level league, as well as in county, regional and national level competitions.  Teams are selected on ability not age.  In the more recent past the Club competed in the England Netball Premier League.  Since starting our junior club, both the U16 and U14 squads have been Kent County Champions, and gone on to compete amongst the top teams in the country at the National Championships.

All our members are expected to be fully committed to the club, and to train hard. We play to win and encourage all members to develop their game and reach their full potential. Members are also encouraged to give back to the club by getting involved with coaching and umpiring, or other volunteer roles.

Training is at NK College, Dartford on Thursday evenings throughout the season (pre-season training is usually held at the Malling & Maidstone Netball League courts in Aylesford).  We enter both juniors and minis teams into the Sevenoaks Junior Netball League, and our seniors play in various other leagues.

Enquiries from new members are always welcome, especially those competing, or looking to compete, at county and regional level.
